I am not afraid to admit that this business developed out of necessity. The reason? I was transitioning out of law enforcement and looking for a career within security administration. A job where I could use my skills, training, and education but not have to deal with the current environment that is modern day policing. Unfortunately, the market for security administration was stagnant. One night, as I sat discouraged and worried about the future, my wife came to me and asked, “What about going into the trades? After all I know you have the skill and your grandfather (who was an exceptional tradesman) and your father taught you all you need to know to get out there and get started.”

So with cautious optimism I entered into the trades and started working on small home repairs and improvements in the Shorewood and Whitefish Bay areas. So, in the summer of 2017 Justin’s Handyman Services was born! The business took off like a rocket. By putting my all into my trade and turning out quality work I had customers clamoring to get on to my schedule. Since then I haven’t looked back and enjoy the work I do and the people that I work for.

Within the first 6 months I had served over 100 customers (many who continue to call back), completed training to become a home inspector, obtained my General Contractor license, and completed a large renovation. Business continued to grow from there, with small projects and large projects alike quickly filling my schedule. Justin’s Handyman Services was officially formed into an LLC shortly thereafter. As a professional I am always looking to advance my skill, training, and knowledge. As such I want to obtain certifications in specialties (such as tiling, carpentry, and flooring), host DIY courses (for adults) and camps (for high schoolers and college students), and eventually into flipping homes in the NorthShore area.

In the summer of 2020, Justin’s Handyman Services LLC was changed to Lonewolf Remodeling LLC. This developed out of necessity as to better illustrate what my company is capable of. That did not mean, however, that Justin’s Handyman Services would disappear. Due to my dedication to serving clients, no matter the size of the job, Justin’s Handyman Services became the division responsible for home repairs and minor improvements. Lonewolf Remodeling LLC will now be responsible for all major home renovations and remodels. I look forward to what the future holds and see this company continue to advance and flourish.
